How to Make Candied Walnuts

  • 2 cups walnuts
  • 3 eggs (separate egg whites and yolk)
  • ΒΌ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract


In a large bowl whip the egg whites until they look like foam, then add in your walnuts. Add in sugar, cinnamon, sea salt, and vanilla extract, then mix all ingredients together.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread walnuts onto a sheet pan covered in parchment paper or wax paper. Bake for 7 minutes, then flip the walnuts over and bake for another 7 minutes.

Now they are ready to add to your favorite fall salad!
