Spiced Pecans - Sweet Holiday Recipe

Spiced Pecans

Ingredients:
2 organic egg whites, pastured
2 teaspoons water
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon unrefined sea salt
¾ cup sugar
1 1/2 pounds raw pecan halves

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and lightly oil the paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk egg white with water and vanilla until very frothy. Add in the cinnamon, salt and date sugar. Add in the pecans and toss with clean hands to coat.
Pour the coated pecans over the parchment-lined baking sheets and spread into an even layer.
Bake pecans for 1 hour 10 minutes, stirring once after 30 minutes. Remove nuts from oven and allow to cool and harden for 30 minutes. Transfer into small glass votives with a sprig of rosemary as garnish

Christmas Martini

Ingredients:
2 ounces gin
½ oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz Christmas Bitters
Lime twist for garnish
 

Instructions:

In a martini glass, combine the gin, dry vermouth, and Christmas bitters.
Stir together and garnish with a lime twist.

Champagne Macarons

Ingredients:

Macarons
Champagne glasses
Champagne
 

Instructions:

Add your favorite champaign to decorative champaign glasses, and place macarons on top, using your go-to macaron recipe.

Nothing says celebration quite like a sweet glass of Champagne. Add macarons to your holiday celebrations, for a splash of sweet, decorative fun.

White Chocolate & Peppermint Cakepops

Ingredients:

1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup water
3 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
1 package chocolate frosting
lollipop sticks
1 bag white chocolate candy melts
Candy canes
 

Instructions:

Beat cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a bowl using an electric mixer. Bake in the preheated 350 degree oven for 28 to 33 minutes. Cool completely. Crumble cake into a large bowl, and add frosting into cake. Stir until mixture is sticky. Chill in refrigerator. Roll cake mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls and arrange on a baking sheet.
