This Greenwich Village club and artists’ assistance organization was founded as a sketch club in 1871 and has resided in its current location since 1917. The club contains a parlor decorated with Victorian furniture and marble fireplaces, and an adjoining gallery; the two spaces hold 200 for receptions. The Parlor, designed with the spacious elegance of an earlier era, is the site of festive receptions. A wood-paneled dining room holds 85 for receptions or seated events.
